Supporting the youth
 

With our "Support a Rez Kid" Project you can support a certain child or youth directly.

To make sure that the youth you have chosen to support will receive the gifts send it directly to:

Dakota Youth Project, Inc.
P.O. Box 2036
Pine Ridge, SD 57770

Please don't forget to send a note together wirth your gifts that shows the name of the child you want to support.
Send also your name, address and/or email address. Dakota Youth Project will get in touch with you as soon as your gifts have been passed on to youth of your choice.

Supporting the DYP
 
There are different ways to support the DYP:
 

For our Educational Project we need

  • Projector for PowerPoint presentations
  • Laser printer
  • Funds for paper, ink cartridges etc. for brochures and handout material
  • Funds for gas and other travel expenses
  • A used van in good condition

For our Youth Home Project we need

  • Funds, funds, funds...
  • Fencing materials (barbed wire and posts) for 2.5 acres
  • Somebody that can provide the equipment for drilling a well
  • Building supplies (at a later date because we cannot store them here)
 
Other ways of support are fundraising campaigns and organizing speaking engagements for DYP board members.
