DYP News - Highlights 2007

Our "Rezkids of the Month" Atlanta and Richmond, received some clothes they really needed:

Atlanta and Richmond also found a sponsor from Germany. A couple will support both kids.

Due to the donations we received we were able to buy clothes for other kids. We were also able to help the family of Atlanta and Richmond to have power reconnected as they were unable to pay the light bill. Like many of the families on the reservation the family was without power for some weeks. Fortunately, we could help another family with buying propane for heating.

Now we are preparing our annual Christmas Gift Drive. As every year, we will distribute bags with fruit, nuts, candies and small gifts to kids on the reservation.

Our current "Rezkid of the Month" is Wiconi, the half sister of Atlanta and Richmond.

We are back from our summer break. It wasn't a real break, because there are always people in need of help and we did what we could to provide this help.

We also handed out school supplies according to available funds.

This time we are presenting two "Rezkid Of The Month". Atlanta and Richmond come from a family that really needs help! Even if you don't want to sponsor a kid on a regular basis, in this case a one time donation will help a lot.

Our "Rez Kid of the Month",, Duggan, has found a sponsor from Germany who will support him on a monthly basis. He has also found a co-sponsor from the US who paid for the basketball shoes he was wishing for, and who will continue to help covering other needs he has.
